ABOUT US

CPMI emerged in 1987 as one of the founding consulting firms that specialized in Workplace Safety, OSHA Compliance, Human Resources and Employee Training.  As laws, regulation and company policies change, it is important that the company communicates with employees.  This is how CPMI gained its acclaimed reputation.  CPMI addresses such changes graciously, enabling a Positive Safety Culture in every workplace environment.

Phyllis Holcomb

As a founding member of CPMI, Phyllis Holcomb brings a wealth of first-hand experience in personnel management.  She began her career working at a prestressed concrete manufacturer and served as Secretary/Treasurer of the corporation.  Her responsibilities included managing the accounting department, the human resource department, and the safety department.  CPMI was established in 1987, and with the new regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), employers were seeking a service that few entities were offering.  Safety Consultants were now in high demand, and this is where Phyllis began her journey.  Now, in business for over 30 years, Phyllis' vision for a fully comprehensive Safety and HR consulting firm has been realized.  CPMI provides industry leading services to employers across Texas.

 

Phyllis is currently on the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission list as an Approved Professional Safety Source.  She attended Texas Christian University and the Harvard University Summer Management Program.

Paula Carter, is the Co-Founder of CPMI.  In addition to safety training, her expertise is focused on Human Resource consulting.  She has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management for several years.

Before joining CPMI, she was Vice-President of a textile company where her responsibilities included employee safety and human resource issues as well as assisting in the development of textiles, colors and patterns.

She earned an Associate of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design in 1978 and has attended Texas Christian University and Amarillo College.

Letty Cabrera, joined CPMI in 2012 as a Safety Trainer.  She is now the Lead Safety and HR Consultant of the company.  She has completed multiple OSHA training courses at the University of Texas - Arlington, she is also preparing to take her STS exam with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Letty is currently a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and an certified American Red Cross Instructor. 

Before joining CPMI, she worked as a Workers' Compensation Specialist, she gained expertise in the Texas Workers' Compensation System and now works closely with clients managing work-related injuries.  She enjoys working with business owners and their employees to improve company cultures through effective processes in occupational safety and human resources.

 

Letty will complete her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2023.
